If you plan to make video of stuff beyond family and friends, get a 3CCD camcorder.

Any suggestion about a cheap a low end (value for money) camcoder ?
Cheap and good pic quality Panasonic PV-GS250. But its a little bulky.
And if you got some dough: Sony HDR-HC1. High quality HD stuff.

DSLR..... get a NIKON you can never go wrong with that... do not get into the cheap plastics aka CANON :)
D70 is good.....
